Developed While Working At: Dynorun Inc.
Other: Developed a suite of Internet web applications for Dynorun Inc. The suite integrates Activex graphing components, Active server DLL components, SQL Server and Visual C applications each working in concert to form the website interface. All software created for this project was custom
as no application of this type existed for use on the Internet. Dynorun.com provides the automotive performance customer the ability to dynamically view Horsepower and Torque graphs and performance gains between a given stock vehicle and a modified vehicle with a staged performance kit installed. This allows the user to make an informed decision on which products have the desired performance prior to purchase on the website. One of the most notable features of the website software is that all charts are generated dynamically in memory via an Activex graphing component as to require no download to the client browser. Additionally all website management, database entry, banner advertising and content management are completely integrated into the suite (via granular administration) through a web interface. Thus providing website management complete control from remote sites. One of the most advanced e-commerce features of the shopping system is multiple vendor management. This provides the system the ability to allow multiple vendors access to input stock into the system based on which automobiles their product is manufactured for. Website customers can purchase multiple performance products from multiple vendors with only one transaction and the back-end system securely manages each order via an SSL interface and notifies the vendors involved through an automatic email system.
